What are the benefits of volunteering at the auction?
Auction volunteers contribute in a meaningful way to the success of WWTA's annual fundraiser. Meals and drinks are provided for volunteers working "full time" during the event.
How long will I be working during the auction?
Unless otherwise noted, most shifts will entail about 5 hours of work during the course of the evening. Several shorter assignments are available for people who do not want to work a full shift. However, to qualify for free auction admission, volunteers may be asked to work at least two part time shifts.
Do I need to be a WWTA member to volunteer?
No. Anyone with an interest in WWTA's mission is welcomed to volunteer.
How can I volunteer and still participate in the auction?
A number of part time shifts are available and pre-auction volunteers are needed, as well. If you would like to help but don't want to miss bidding on that special item, let us know and we will work with you!
Are there volunteer needs before the auction date?
Absolutely! Volunteers are needed for auction procurement, registration packet assembly, and much more. Contact auction@wwta.org or call 206.545.9161 to get involved.
What's the dress code?
Great question - its generally open to interpretation. This is a Seattle-style-casual-cocktail-attire type of evening. So leave your pearls at home, but dress "nice."
