Triton Cove State Park

A drive-by visit today showed the camp area in excellent condition. The vault toilet facility was immaculate. I was hard pressed to find any trash to pick up but I did finally score a gum wrapper and an old empty powdered creamer foil. smile

Even though it was a cold and drizzly day, I saw two small fishing boats being hauled out at the ramp; this continues to be a popular public launch site but the camping area is at the furthest point south from the ramp and higher so there should not be much noise impact from that source.  Likewise, the tent camping area is below a bank and vegetation so any noise from Hwy-101 shouldl be minimal.

This park is under the jurisdiction of Ranger Doug Hinton from nearby Dosewallops State Park and he does a first-rate job of keeping this park in tip top shape.
