Master Educator of Leave No Trace
The Master Educator is the highest level of Leave No Trace training. Master Educators are trained to teach Trainer Courses and Awareness Workshops. Master Educator Courses provide participants with innovative skills for low-impact recreation.
Master Educator Courses are ideal for outfitters, guides, counselors, and individuals pursuing personal and professional development. The five day course is taught by experienced outdoor professionals and designed for those interested in the highest level of Leave No Trace training.
Washington Water Trails Association hosted a Master Educator Course June 2006 at Cascadia Marine Trail campsites in the San Juan Islands.
In 2008 the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) has a Master Educator course tailored for sea kayaking September 22-26 in the San Juan Islands. For information on this course contact Haven Holsapple 800.710.6657 x 2216.
