Odlin County Park

The sandy bay that fronts most of Odlin County Park is a welcome relief from the rocky cliffs surrounding many of the San Juan Islands.

Approach: Land between the boat ramp and campground beach and locate CMT site. It is next to site #1.
Location: Southwest corner of Upright Head.
Hazards: Heavy boat traffic in Upright Channel with accompanying wakes.
Sites: 1 site, located next to site #1
Water: Drinking water located at faucets. Closest faucet is in the day-use. Water is on seasonally. April 1st – October 31st.
Sanitation: Vault toilets located throughout the campground and day-use. Showers are available in town.
Overflow: Hiker/biker sites 25-32.
Fires: Fires in established fire pits only. Beach fires are not permitted. Check for burn bans.

Special Considerations: Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult for overnight camping privileges. Site is bordered by car campsites and day-use.
Natural History: The steep sea floor is ideal for scuba divers. The currents around Upright Head provide good nutrients for underwater species and sometimes trouble for kayakers.
