SEA Kayaker Summer Destinations

WWTA is happy to have North Moench and Ella Goodbrod as the 2008 Sound Education & Action Kayaker Team. North and Ella will be happy to talk to you or your group about WWTA and how to "reduce your paddle print" while enjoying the Cascadia Marine Trail. Check out their itinerary (subject to change) and read about their weekends on the water.

Cascadia Marine Trail Changes new site

After two years, the campsite at Oak Bay County Park in North Sound is open again as of July. Kopachuck State Park has a new Cascadia Marine Trail site, replacing the original site that was closed due to erosion. New Saltwater State Park Cascadia Marine Trail campsite in Des Moines fills a gap on the urban eastern shores of Mid Puget Sound.

Kitsap County Parks ended camping at three former Trail parks.  WWTA is seeking a solution to reopen the campsites and is looking at replacement sites.
