We have been out checking on Cascadia Marine Trail We have been out checking on Cascadia Marine Trail sites this spring, and Deception Pass, Bowman Bay, is one of our favorites! We like to keep eyes on it because our signs keep migrating around. The original kayak sign is missing, and somebody moved the Carsonite sign from the beach up to the campsite. Make this one of your destinations this summer, human powered boats only. 🐋🐳🐬

It turns out it’s going in right next to the water with a great view! They also pointed out that their event space is up for rent and we thought we might put on a paddle and picnic at the facility.

Stopped at Fort Warden to check on this site, which is the last one before the Strait o Juan de Fuca begins. Love how the Rangers take such good care of the site, they make sure that the carsonite post is visible and even put a red arrow pointing to the site! They built a custom kiosk for signage #fortwardenstatepark #cascadiamarinetrail #kayak #humanpower ... See MoreSee Less
