We are ready to do this again, Sunday August 22nd. Sign-up on Eventbrite!

The picnic shelter at Pioneer Park is reserved from  3:00pm to 9:00pm.

Bill Brackin, our membership manager, is coordinating the hot dogs, hamburgers and salmon. We would love for you to bring side dishes or desert! Bring what you would like to drink.

We’ll start the coals at 4:00pm, and have food ready soon after.

The tides will be on the rise most of the day. Please email wwta@wwta.org if you are interested in paddling, or helping to lead the paddle. People can form their own groups, and we can work on organizing one group. The last time we did this it was fun to see who showed up, and what they were paddling in or on!

We will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and salmon. We are hoping you will contribute salads, deserts and any beverages you want to drink. :)

There are plenty of places to stay in La Conner if you would like to stay over on either Saturday or Sunday night. Two of our favorite places are the Blue Heron Inn (nice bed and breakfast), or the La Conner Country Inn.

Last time, the Swinomish Tribe offered camping just across the channel. If you are interested in camping, please let us know and we can see if it is available. They quoted $100.00.

For anyone who comes the evening before, we’d recommend getting together at the La Conner Brewery at 7:00pm. They have excellent wood fired pizza!

Coffee drinkers might like Stompin’ Grounds Coffee.

La Conner has done a great job of supporting our Cascadia Marine Trail site. The public works department just replaced our bulletin board with materials of their own, and we appreciate it.

We are asking a sliding scale from $5.00-$30.00 to cover the cost of the park and food. We would really love a great showing to celebrate many things, including being able to get together outdoors.

Please register on Eventbrite so we know how many people we can expect for the barbeque.

Please do keep the current CDC and Washington State recommendations in mind when it comes to wearing masks and social distancing.
