FreeBlind Island Work Party
Join us for our annual Blind Island Work Party. This will be held on June 4th, 9:00 – 3:00. Washington State Parks ranger Dylan McElhaney will meet us at the Orcas Island Ferry Terminal at nine o’clock am to ferry us over to Blind Island as he has done in the past. He will also bring tools.
If you are interested please email volunteers@wwta.org. We have already heard from a few past volunteers and will send out a personal email with more details. Some volunteers are planning on staying on Orcas Island the night before and the night after. Others have camped out on Blind Island in the past. If interested we can also try to organize a meal.
It’s possible to walk-on the ferry, however if you are thinking of driving on, you will need to make a reservation.
