Blind Island Work Party

Join WWTA along with Park Ranger Rich Doss and conservationist Nick Teague to help maintain the Blind Island site on the Cascadia Marine Trail. Work will entail invasive plant removal (ivy and blackberry brambles) and general clean-up of the shoreline and area.

You can paddle over or catch a ride on the State Parks skiff from Orcas Landing Dock near the Orcas Island ferry terminal. Bring your own PFD if you’re riding on the boat.

This work party will occur rain or shine so remember to wear layers and synthetic materials to keep you warm and dry. Also, please make sure that you take along enough drinking WATER to last all day, and don’t forget your lunch.
