Snee-oosh Paddle and Picnic with Salmon BBQ

June 20 @ 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Overview

Snee-oosh Beach Paddle, La Conner Picnic and Salmon BBQ 2026

Snee-oosh Paddle and Picnic

The Paddle:

Meet at Snee-Oosh Beach 9:00am, launch at 10:00pm. Paddle to Hope Island and then back to Snee-Oosh Beach.

Snee-Oosh Beach is located at the intersection of Chilberg Ave and View Lane.

Following the paddle we will have a salmon bbq picnic and potluck by the La Conner boatramp/Lower Pioneer Park. We are hoping you will contribute salads, deserts and any beverages you want to drink. :)

There are plenty of places to stay in La Conner if you would like to stay over before or after. Two of our favorite places are the Blue Heron Inn (nice bed and breakfast), or the La Conner Country Inn. You can also paddle in and stay at our site at Pioneer Park. Other camping options in the area are Ala Spit, Skagit and Hope Islands.

For anyone who comes the evening before, we’d recommend getting together at the La Conner Brewery at 7:00pm. They have excellent wood fired pizza!

Coffee drinkers might like Stompin’ Grounds Coffee.

La Conner has done a great job of supporting our Cascadia Marine Trail site. The public works department replaced our bulletin board with materials of their own, and we appreciate it.

More information:
