Odlin County Park

The sandy bay that fronts most of Odlin County Park is a welcome relief from the rocky cliffs surrounding many of the San Juan Islands.

Approach: Land to the west of the boat launch

Location: Southwest corner of Upright Head. The non-motorized campsites are at the west end of the campground.

Hazards: Heavy boat traffic in Upright Channel with accompanying wakes.

Sites: 1 next to boat ramp

Water: Faucet. Not available in winter.

Sanitation: Vault toilet

Overflow: Overflow camping is available for people without a car.

Ownership: San Juan County Parks: www.sanjuanco.com/parks

Fires: Fires in established fire pits only. Beach fires are not permitted. Check for burn bans.

Extras: Hiking, picnic area

      1. Thx so much.
        How many tents are allowed?
Do I have to book it?
For sure… we are not up in the walk in sites, right?
        Thx for your help!

        1. Hi Laureen,

I would call the park to find out more details, although in the past I’ve camped there in fairly large groups. The sites are below the bluffs.

          Andree
