Moving up the coast from Bayview State Park, which Moving up the coast from Bayview State Park, which was mud as far as the eye can see, to Larrabee State Park, which was far more accessible by boat. This would be a perfect spot for a Cascadia Marine Trail site as there is a gap in this area for paddlers who need to reach the shore and spend the night. Mr. Larrabee donated land and also created a covenant to the north granting homeowners to have access to several private beaches. Washington is one of the only states that allows private beach ownership. This was started with the Willapa Bay oyster farmers who wanted to sell oysters in San Fransisco during the gold rush era. 🙂 #larrabeestatepark #kayak #canoe #paddleboard #CascadiaMarineTrail #WashingtonWaterTrails #AccessToTheWater #WaterAccess #pnw
