La Conner Picnic and Paddle

Sunday August 6th 
Paddle from Snee-Oosh Beach followed by a salmon bbq and picnic. 

The North Sound Kayak Club has offered to lead a kayak trip from Snee-oosh Beach starting in the morning do to low tides. 

North Skagit, Similk, and Kikit Bay tour.

Meet at Snee-Oosh Beach 8:30, launch at 9:00, paddle north past Lone Tree Island/Point, Then between Skagit and Kiket Islands, then around Similk Bay and back to Skagit Island for a break. Paddle over to Hope Island and then back to Snee-Oosh Beach.

• 8 nm/Pace 2.5 kt moderate/Trip rating, II-B/Less than 4 hours paddle time.There is a .8 nm crossing from Fidelgo Is to Skagit Island and again from Skagit Island to Hope Island.
• Should be back to beach by 1:00
• Snee-Oosh Beach is located at the intersection of Chilberg Ave and View LaneTrip Leaders Tim Hallmark and Julia Schiemer

We have reserved the Pioneer Park Picnic Shelter beginning at 3:00pm for a picnic and bbq! Please join us whether or not you paddle :)
